Briefing

This week brings only additive updates – no breaking or silent‑risk changes – so existing integrations can keep running unchanged. If you plan to exercise Amazon’s sandbox for external fulfillment shipments, you’ll want to review the newly added model, schemas and endpoints.

Additive changes

A brand‑new model External Fulfillment / externalFulfillmentLocation_2026-07-30 is now available, alongside a suite of sandbox‑shipment types (CreateSandboxShipmentRequest, CreateSandboxShipmentResponse, MarketplaceId, SandboxShipmentUpdates, UpdateSandboxShipmentRequest). Two fresh endpoints let you create and patch sandbox shipments: POST /externalFulfillment/2024-09-11/shipments and PATCH /externalFulfillment/2024-09-11/shipments/{shipmentId}. If you intend to use these features, search your codebase for the schema names or endpoint paths to add the appropriate request/response handling.
